Since Ouzinkie Native Corporation has entered into the federal contracting world we are becoming
familiar with the acronyms used in our lines of business as well as our work with the Small Business
Administration. We want you to have a list of the acronyms that we use on a daily basis.
For example, PM TRASYS is Program Manager Training Systems (The Marine Corps contracting shop that DTS's
contracts are let through); COB is Civilian on Battlefield (another term for role player); and BFX is Battlefield
Effects (the pyrotechnics used to simulate explosions DTS uses during training exercises).
